Concrete

Concrete is a mixture of cement, grained stone and water, and the mixture can also include concrete additives. Concrete is used as a binder, whose strength is the result of the crystallization of the cement’s clinker particles. Its compressive strength is one of cement’s fundamental characteristics. Therefore, when concrete formulae are developed, the primary concern is to enable the manufacture of a concrete which at the age of 28 days (normal test age) reaches a certain compression strength standard.

Cement’s Traction and Compression Characteristics

• flexible formability as fresh concrete

• high compression strength

• low traction ability

Cemco cooperates closely with leading ready-mixed concrete manufacturers in Europe and can thus offer high quality concrete at special conditions.
